Congratulations! You have been selected as a finalist in the 2025 Guthman Musical Instrument Competition. Your innovative work in new musical instruments at the intersection of engineering, design, and musicianship represents an inspiring vision for the future of musical creativity.
We invite you to come to the Georgia Tech campus in Atlanta, Georgia to compete as a finalist in the final round of the Guthman Musical Instrument Competition. This includes:
- Setup and preparation of your instrument in our performance venue, the Ferst Center for the Arts, on the afternoon of Thursday, March 6th, 2025.
- Presentation of your instrument to our judges on Friday, March 7th, 2025.
- Participation in a public performance with your instrument on the evening of Saturday, March 8th, 2025, where you will perform on stage in collaboration with a local Atlanta musician.
